The MCX Eco-Stove works on the principal of Gasification. This process greatly improves the heat transfer from the stove to the cooking pot. The gasification /combustion process is a two step process, firstly the biomass is combusted, followed by gasification of the volatile in the gas smoke. This is achieved by thermo-chemical processes such as pyrolysis, reduction and combustion.

The MCX Eco-Stove converts a wide variety of biomass fuels into high efficiency heat. It achieves a clean "blue flame" combustion using an "air wick" that optimizes draft and stabilizes the flame position thus giving end users the advantages of "cooking with gas." As most of the emissions are converted into energy this innovative technology offers cleaner, cheaper, reliable and better controlled gas cooking from and biomass while protecting our environment.
